In The World of Proressional Wrestling, there are good wrestling broadcasters and great wrestling icons, but if there was one man who went from hosting a wrestling show like the Danger zone in the NWA in the 1980's and then Revolutionised A Wrestling organization in South Philadelphia, then your talking about one man. Paul Heyman !! Paul Heyman started off as a manager in the NWA in the 1980's, he managed people like the original midnight express, and mean mark Caluse better known today in the wwe as the undertaker. He later did Braodcasting with Jim Ross in WCW, but left WCW to persue other interests. In mid 1995 paul Heyman went to work in a wrestling organization in philadelphia, back then it was called eastern championship Wrestling, later during a NWA world heavyweight Championship match, contraversy surrounded the world title, shane douglas spat at the NWA title and said " to all of the previous wrestlers who held this title they can all kiss my a**. Shane douglas threw the title on the floor and said if there was any title he wanted to hold it was the ECW world chamionship, From that point on paul Heyman struck Gold in his eyes and started a revolution that is ECW, Extreme Championship wrestling. ECW had the who's who in wrestling like terry funk, Mic Foley, Shane douglas, Bam Bam Bigalow, The sandman, Raven, Rey mysterio Jr., Dean Malinko, The late eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit. they also had female managers who from time to time would wrestle when the opertunity presented itself. such Females like Tammy lynn Synch, Francine, Beulla magilacudy, dawn marie, and the late Nancy Sullivan better known as Woman. ECW lasted from 1995-2001, ECW went out of Business because of Financial problems and television Marketing. after the closing of ECW paul heyman worked with vince mcmahon in the WWE on a storyline involving ECW & WCW along with stephanie & shane mcmahon invading the WWE as it rival organizations. But it didn't work, and paul heyman was out of a job. Paul Heyman would go and do a whole bunch of thing later, but recently his name resurvised and paul heyman could be heading to TNA... right now speculations have been going around TNA that hulk Hogan & eric bischoff could be out of the job, and Paul heyman is the replacement.
