A Star without a Hall of fame Wing, a legacy of a fallen wrestler, A Promotor/Owner with a Hard Decision to make. Over the years pro wrestling has had great wrestlers who have fallen and never got rewarded for their hard work and dedication for the sport of pro wrestling. Legacys unfulfilled, and dreams shattered in a short period of time. Many wrestlers like Gino hernandez, bam bam bigalow, brian pillman, Rick Rude, and of course Davy boy smith. But if their is one wrestler out of that list of fallen wrestlers who deserves to be in the WWE hall of fame, it is Owen Hart. Owen hart was from calgary alberta canada, son of the legendary Stu Hart and Brother of Bret Hart. Owens career in the WWE was one of the most popular ones, dating back to the early 1980's when he debut as the Blue Blazer, dazzling fans with his amazing ability in the wrestling ring, and future star in the making. but a career put on hold due to money problems, so owen ventured else where, he later would get a job as a fireman, but made very little money, so later owen would return to the WWE, but this time as the rocket owen hart, teaming up with Koko B. ware as high energy, the team was very entertaining, but it wasn't enough to get owen over the hump for tag team gold, so he teamed up with his brother in-law and former partner to bret hart of the hart foundation, jim the anvil neidhart as the New foundation, but again it wasn't enough, so owen would put his tag team career on hold and focus on his singles career. Owens decision on a singles career was a good move, he would have a spring of matches with his brother bret hart, to boost his singles career and make him a possible headliner in the near future. Owen would later hold the tag team titles with the late yokozuna & Davy boy smith and jeff jarrett, and hold the intercontinental championship on two occasions. But The star that shined so bright, would fade in a situation that would later cement his fate and his career. Owen harts next project, was a decision he would later regret, he was told that he would do a storyline that owen would be having an affair with one of the WWE divas, but owen declined, fear for a possible problem with his family, so Vince Mcmahon decided that owen was going to portray a familiar character from his past, as punishment for declining a storyline. Owen would portray the blue blazer, and started doing stunts from the ceiling. The idea of flying from the ceiling frightened owen but he did it anyways, and on a pay-per-view event called over the edge owen's fate was sealed... Owen hart lost his life, in a tradgic accident falling to his death from the ceiling.
In the next couple of years, some WWE superstars lives were cut short due to drug abuse, and fatal accidents. some superstars like Eddie guerrero, Kurt henning, and chris benoit. But of the three WWE stars i've listed only two ended up in the WWE hall of fame( eddie guerrero, Kurt Henning), why is that? both men are great athletes, and had great careers, but What About Owen? over the years since owen's death, fans have cried out every year for owen to be put in the Hall of fame, but no one's listening.... last year alot of fan's patitioned for owen to be put in the hall of fame on you tube, and twitter but owen name fall in deaf ears in the WWE headquarters. Eddie guerrero and kurt henning both died of complications due to drugs are both in the hall of fame, both dead!! Fallen heros, Fallen superstars, but only one star without a Hall of fame wing. Owen Hart!!!
