Jim Ross Take on TNA Being The WCW???

Tonight's Special Topic is an update on Jim Ross blog on the Discussion on TNA being the new WCW. Here is the article...

- Is TNA The New WCW? "No. Comparing the turner Network that aired WCW back in the day ala TBS and TNT isn't a fair Comparison to the Spike Network. TNT was, as best as I Recall, one of the Top 1-3 Cable Networks in existance back in those days while Spike isn't even in the Top 15 Cable Networks in today's Market place. Some of the on air and in ring talent's are the same but i'm not so sure that's a good thing either. I have old friends who work for TNA and for their sake and for the sake of the biz in general I hope that TNA does Well. For Those fan's who theorize that TNA will Eventually kick WWE's ass those folks need to lay off Magic Mushrooms. -Jim Ross aka JR.

Now after hearing that i had to agree with JR because alot of fan's have compared TNA to WCW because of Hogan and Bischoff. Well i'd have to say is if Hogan and Bischoff is such a bad thing, why did the WWE take Hogan and Bischoff after WCW went under. alot of fan's period need to get there heads straight, TNA isn't WCW no matter how much in looks like WCW it isn't WCW.

Just because they have old wrestlers like Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Sting, isn't going to make anything better than it already is. Alot of TNA fans love these old wrestlers because it's the old wrestlers who love the business, who has passion for the business. It was Sting, who told AJ Styles to stay in TNA, because AJ was going to leave TNA in the beginning of 2010. No matter how you see it, it's these old wrestlers who show the young talent how to become a wrestler, and how to improve your craft and experience in the business.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H Special Guest Referee Shawn Michaels!! Is This The End of The Deadman, and The Streak????

Well i found a Topic for Today, and found it very interesting, Reports are flying around almost every wrestling website about the possiiblity of a Undertaker vs. Triple H with Special Guest referee Shawn Michaels. Now last Year Shawn Michaels had his last match in the WWE at last Years Wrestlemania XXVII, and the undertaker was the one who retired him. Since that time the undertaker has been going thru some rough health Problem relating to his match with michaels last year. The Undertaker went through knee surgery and a bunch of time off. When he returned to face kane, The Undertaker lost three consecutive matches with kane, now that a feat no other wrestler has ever made against the Undertaker. Now The Undertaker is contemplating on who he should wrestle at Wrestlemania. Brock lesner was the first to be mentioned but due to contractual obligations that will not happen. Recently Triple H name was strongly mentioned in current meetings with WWE Officials about Triple H facing the Undertaker if his Health permits it. another individual name came across the table was Shawn Michaels. Shawn Just recently was introduced into the WWE Hall of Fame, and also signed a contract with the WWE, but had stated it wasn't to wrestle, but Shawn never denyed being a Special referee. So if this is what the WWE is going with for Wrestlemania, one could only wonder if this Years Wrestlemania is The Undertakers last match, and if it is will the Streak be intact??? Now i'm not Rocket scientist, but the last time Shawn michaels was the Special Guest referee it was at 1997 at Summerslam in the main event for the WWF championship with Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker and we all know what happened!! Sweet Chin Music across the deadmans face!! So IMO I doubt that the streak will be intact after Wrestlemania XXVII. Lets Be real Vince Mcmahon will not allow someone to leave the WWE with an undefeated streak in his last match. Ric Flair lost his last match to HBK, then HBK lost his last match to the Undertaker. But if this is the last time the deadman walks the aile i would like to thank the undertaker for all of the great memories he gave the WWE fans since his debut back in 1990 at the Survivior series.
- Providing that the undertaker is healthy enough to compete in a singles match at Wrestlemania XXVII, there has been talk of the deadman facing his opponent at Wrestlemania X-seven, Triple H.
Shawn Michaels as the bouts special guest referee has also been discussed. He recently stated that he reached a new contactual agreement with WWE, but would not be returning to the ring as a wrestler. -Prowrestling.com.

The New Main Event Mafia!!! Feb. 3rd They're Coming!!

If you're wondering why TNA is going with this They're Coming angle again, then you'll be thinking about this for months to come, but i have the inside scoop on who "They" Are!!!

Since the moment abyss was attacked by Crimson aka Amazing Reds Little Brother, one wondered why??? So i dug up some information and what i got was this... During impact some time before 2011, Amazing Red Challenged Jeff Jarrett in his MMA exibition and instead jeff attacked amazing red.. Now one can only speculate right now until Feb. 3rd. Now since that time TNA fans started rumors about a possibility of the reformation of the Main Event Mafia, Now one can only know what kind of an impact that would bring to TNA. But let me give you some key points..

1. Kevin Nash is Retired from Wrestling.

2. Scott Steiner is Retired from wrestling.

3. Booker T. possibly working for the WWE.

4. Sting not signed by TNA as we speak.

Now These key points indicate that the original Main Event Mafia members are currently not in TNA. Three out of the four members are retired, and sting is still contemplating on returning to TNA. But i have done more resurch and found out that they'll be new members of The Main Event Mafia for 2011, and they are impressive...

The 2011 Main Event Mafia!!

1. Kurt Angle.

2. Ken Anderson.

3. RVD.

4. Crimson.

5. Samoa Joe.

6. Sting( if he resigns with TNA!!).

So if anybody tells you who They Are... tell them to tune into TNA Impact on feb. 3rd. on Spiketv to find out...

2011 will be interesting in TNA Wrestling.

TNA State of the Union of The X-Division!!!

Good Morning My Wrestling Freaks out there! This Morning i would like to talk about a topic on something that's been going on in TNA for quite some time. Rumors have been going around about the X-division possibly being taken off of TNA Wrestling. TNA President Dixie carter has made statements on her facebook page, about possibly getting rid of it but has made that decision yet. TNA Officials have strongly consider putting the X-Division on the shelf sort of speaking. To get to the point if i may, i can bring out some key points to why the X-division have been over looked in TNA!

1. Alot of X-division Wrestlers have been released over the past two years.

( Homicide, suicide, Christopher daniels, Eric Young, exct.)

2. The Key X-division wrestlers who made their mark have been pushed to different divisions.

(AJ Styles, Kazarian, Alex shelly, Chris Sabin, Douglas Williams, exct.)

3. X-Division wrestlers who still wrestle in the X-Division.

( Jay Lethal, Amazing Red, Robbie E.)

4. TNA Championships that ruined TNA for the past couple on months due to lack of competition.

( TNA Television Championship, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships).

5. No X-Division Matches like Ultimate X, Ironman Matches exct.

Since TNA Inaugeral start in 2003, The X-Division has been the cornerstone of TNA. Now The X-division seems to be a bitter memory for some wrestling fans. In order to keep the X-division TNA has to make some changes in TNA...

1. TNA needs to get young fresh wrestlers.

2. Some TNA Superstars that have been in the X-Division before, needs to make Sacrifices and come back to the X-division to keep it going.

3. TNA needs to get rid of The TNA Television Belt, and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles.

If TNA keeps going in the rate that there going, then TNA needs to come up with something that would catch the fans interests. TNA needs to get rid of fortune and Immortal Storylines, Hulk Hogan not being there is hurting the storyline. don't get me wrong, hulk Hogan has been away from TNA due to a 10-Hour back surgery he had a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it will be his last, as far as the X-Division goes i have no new report of this situation, but if there is any more news please join me and my co-hosts on saturday night from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tha Best Damn Show in Radio, 347-637-3859!! Join Mike Knoxxxs, Eazy E., Wize Shabazz, Big D., and myself Mr. Lopez.

Comments are welcome for this topic...

They Are Coming!!! What!! Not Again!!

Ok.... It looks like we're have a little Deja Vu going around!!! Last Night on TNA Impact, Abyss was recently Attacked by none other than Crimson Aka Amazing Reds Brother, and he delivered a little message to abyss and Immortal. "Tell Eric that They're Coming Feb. 3rd" They're Coming to Eliminate every member on Immortal!!! Now i'm no Rocket Scientist but haven't we been here Before! Ok Let me give you a little History lesson for all the people who forgot the fraze They're Coming! Back in 2010, TNA wrestling did an angle where abyss came out and told Hulk Hogan that They're coming!! This Saying caused alot of suspision and doubt, on who "they were" and at Bound for glory, They ended up being Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Abyss, and Jeff hardy, and the Next Impact show Immortal was Formed. Now it's 2011, and the speculation has started all Over again!! Who are They?? Good Question... Now i did a little brown nosing and there's alot of talk about a former Faction returning to TNA on feb. 3rd!! Who could it be??

Now i can tell you, but then i'll have to kill you.. LOL. Nah just kidding, what i found out is the faction that is suppose to return is The Main Event Mafia!!! Now again, don't quote me on it, but if i was a betting man i would say 80% that The Main Event Mafia Returning would be a reality, but alot of things would have to happen...

1. Kurt Angle would have to end his storyline with Jeff Jarrett.

2. Booker T. would have to Return to TNA.

3. Samoa joe would have to get rid of The pope.

4. Kevin Nash would have to agree on this and get back to TNA.

5. Sting would have to resign with TNA!!!! (Most Important detial).

So you see this could happen, but only time will tell.. There's alot of time from now til Feb 3rd.

If this happens then TNA would regain power over Immortal in a short period of time. if the original Members do not return, then TNA would have to bring in New young fresh names in The Main Event Mafia. who could it be, well i'll leave that too you!!

Nexus is Broken up to Two Factions!!!! What!!

OK Today's Topic is about a Situation that happened on this past monday on Raw. Cm Punk the New leader of Nexus decided to make an example on who to trust in this group, so he decided a few tests. Now i'm not going to explain what happen because you already know. After the tests, CM Punk found out that Justin gabriel and Heath Slater just couldn't cut the Mustard as they say!! So They Left, But i found out threw the grape vain that Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater did Leave, but they Ended up on Smackdown!! Yes!! It Looks as if Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater will be joining Wade Barrett on Smackdown to form a New Nexus Faction. Now i asked myself could this be possible? Can Wade barrett make a New Nexus on Smackdown, even thou wade was Kicked off of Nexus on Raw By CM Punk!! Something to Think about!!!! Anyways The Point being there will be a new Nexus on Smackdown to join in on the Storyline with The Big Show. i'm pretty Sure that this Situation is going to be talked about from months to come. WWE Should Start Calling Nexus??? CM Punks Nexus RED! and Wade Barrett Nexus BLUE! LOL.
What do think about this Shocking Situation???

Shawn Michaels Hall of Fame Bound a Reality!! I Told You So!!!

The Show Stopper, The Headliner, The Main Event, Mr. Wrestlemania, The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels is Hall Of Fame Bound!!!! WOW What a Shocking Turn of Events to Start the Road to Wrestlemania XXVII By Announcing The First Inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011. Last Night as i was sitting at Home watching Raw, i had a Gut feeling something was about to happen that i have predicted last year around this same time, making a topic about two WWE Superstars who was Flirting with Retirement. Now one of those two is going into the Hall of fame. Last Years Wrestlemania, we saw a legendary career come to an end. Alot of WWE fans were in denial about shawn Michaels leaving the WWE, and frankly alot of fans believed that shawn was going to comeback and wrestle, but as a fan of Shawn Michaels i knew better. Jerry the king Lawler said it best " this next inductee is the greatest of all times, and deserves to be in the hall more than any other superstar" I have to agree with jerry, shawn does deserve to be inducted into the hall of fame. From late 1988 to 2010 shawn wrestled all of his life, and gave his fans everything that he could... My most memorable match that shawn had was at Wrestlemania XII The Iron Man Match for the WWF Championship with Hall of Famer Bret hart. Now today alot of fans would call that match Overated because of how they milked the match and reaired it in later WWE DVDs. Shawn Michaels is the first hall of fame inductee for the class of 2011, and i'm pretty sure theres going to be alot more in the coming weeks ahead.. but there is one Question that is really bugging me??? Shawn Michaels is being inducted this year, so how far is The Undertaker chance to be inducted??? Only Time will tell!!!

TNA Genesis 2011 A New Era For Assholes!!!!

Goodmorning everyone, i hope that every person had a very eventful weekend. Last Night TNA Wrestling had it's first Pay-per-view of the New Year, TNA Genesis 2011 and everyone that saw it knows that we have a New TNA World Heavyweight Champion and he is my name seak non other than MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Anderson........... Anderson!!! So Let's start the topic off by giving everyone a recap of what happen last night.

TNA Genesis 2011!

1. TNA X-Division Championship Match.

Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian.

The Winner: Kazarian A New TNA X-Division Champion!!

To start the Pay-per-view off the X-division title was on the line, Jay Lethal defending the X-Division title against Kazarian, and this match was very competive, and both men went out fight. At one point it looked like jay lethal was going to pull it off, but kazarian was able to accidently hit the referee, and hit the top rope for his finisher move for the win. Immortal starts the Pay-Per-View with the X-division title win!.

2. TNA Knockout's Championship match.

Mickie James vs. Madison Ryane.

The Winner: Madison Ryane. Still TNA Knockout's Champion.

This match was a good and entertaining match. both women gave it their all and at some point mickie james would've won the title, but Tara made her presence known by interfering in the match and saving madison ryane Knockouts championship.

3. Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon.

The Winner: No contest!!

In a match that was three months in the making, Bully Ray and Brother devon finally made their singles career match a reality, but the match was thrown out due to both men violent behavior.

4. RVD vs. Immortal mystery Opponent!!

The Winner: Immortal Mystery Opponent.

Now, this match was deemed a match with a mystery Opponent, and at Genesis the opponent was revealed as Matt hardy!! Well this was No Mystery as my co-host to tha best damn show in radio/Mike knoxxxs like to put it, but a mystery none of a less. I for one didn't like how they brought matt hardy in, because of the lack of storyline, but matt hardy was able to wrestle RVD and get the win, due to contraversy, but there was no contraversy because it was a referees miscue by not knowing that RVD leg was under the ropes.

5. TNA Tag Team Championship Match.

Beer money vs. The Motor City Machine Guns.

The Winner: Beer Money/ A New TNA Tag Team Champions.

If anybody would've told you that MCMG was on Boroughed time as the TNA Tag Team Champions, you wouldn't believe me would you. well that's exactly what happened, beer money reclaimed their Tag Team titles. the match was very competive, and it goes into their already storied rivalrie. But on this night Beer money were the better team that night.

6. TNA World Television Championship Match.

Abyss vs. Douglas Williams.

The Winner: Abyss/ A New TNA Television Champion.

Ok, this Match was Originally AJ Styles vs. Douglas williams in a return rematch for the Television championship, but due to AJ Styles pulled Muscle injury, AJ was unable to compete.

So eric bischoff appointed Abyss to wrestle for the championship against douglas williams. The match was a good match and it looked like immortal wasn't going to interfere right, wrong!! AJ even thou injured came to the ring and hit douglas williams with the title, and abyss walked away with the belt.

7. Double J Double MMA Exibition Match.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle.

Ok, this match was completely a joke of a match, an MMA match give me a break... jeff Jarrett was dominated by kurt angle, and kurt put every move in submission playbook. it looked like kurt was going for the win but jeff being the cheater he is used a substance on his glove to blind kurt from seeing, and the referee threw the match out.

8. Number 1# Contender's Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson.

The Winner: Mr. Anderson.

Ok, this match was a great match between two obvious contenders to Jeff Hardy's TNA Championship. The Match went back and forth, and in the end Mr. Anderson came out with the win. Let me explain why i think Mr. Anderson was the better wrestler in this match. Ever since Bound for Glory, it was believed that Mr. Anderson was going to hold the TNA World Championship after the Event, but because of a miscue by jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson was sidelined for 6-months with a concusion injury, and Matt morgan was going to take his place. Matt Morgan had two chances at the title and blew both chances due to a young referee who didn't know the rules. Turning Point and Final Resolution, Matt Morgan had Jeff pinned but never won the title. So there you have it.

9. TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Jeff hardy vs. Mr. Anderson.

The Winner: Mr. Anderson/ A New TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Well Well Well, What a Surprise!! TNA gave the fan's a Unscheduled Championship Match between Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson. The match started right after the 1# Contenders match. Jeff Hardy came out smoking a Ciggerette, and decided to face mr. Anderon to try to make a statement but it all fell apart for jeff, and Immortal chances of leaving the TNA pay-Per-View with all of the titles went up in smoke!! but let me tell you one bit of information... Jeff Hardy was recently at a court hearing for a Drug and Alcohol possesion, and Jeff Plead Guilty, and the result was that Jeff would have to either due time or community service. No Decision was made yet but TNA Officials made a decision for jeff to lose the title at genesis.

So There you have it... The whole card for TNA Genesis, and like good old JR. would say!!! Mr. Anderson is the New TNA World Heavyweight Champion!!! The Asshole Era Has Begun!!!!

Fan Suing WWE, The Rock, and Triple H for Injury!

Todays topic is an interesting one that i just recently read on Prowrestling.com regarding a fan who was injured during a WWE Pay-Per-view a few years back. Now the one thing a strongly recommed is that no gets hurt during any kind of event of any sport. I know things happen every now and then but in the WWE anything can and usually does happen. Here is the Article about this incident:

According to an article by The Courier Journal out of Louisville, Kentucky, an 18 year-old man is suing WWE, Triple H, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for an injury he allegedly suffered at the Judgment Day PPV in 2000. The event was headlined by HHH vs. The Rock in an Iron Man match and the man was seven years old at the time of the incident. The article states that when HHH and Rock brawled into the crowd, there was a chain reaction of people moving that ended with a woman landing on the plaintiff and allegedly causing him knee and leg injuries. The plaintiff, named Basham in the article, recently had to have surgery on the knee. His attorney is claiming that there is no statue of limitations for filing the lawsuit since Basham was a minor when he was allegedly injured. The lawsuit accused WWE of failing to properly stage the match and provide adequate security for its customers. HHH and Rock are named in the suit and accused of "reckless, willful and wanton conduct." The suit was filed on Monday, and WWE has not responded to media requests regarding the lawsuit.

Now i know this isn't the kinda thing that goes on in the wwe, but sometimes you need to take extra precaution when you go to these kind of events. But as a fan i've had my share of accidents and they usually say please be aware of action when it goes beyond the gard rail. So as hardcore wrestling fans do you agree that this was an accident or does this fan have a legitimate complaint?

Vince Mcmahon: A One Man Show!!!

Well Hello, Happy New Year 2011!! I hope everyone has had a great and happy Holiday's this past weekend. Today i'd like to talk about a topic that i posted last year, and has brought a little light about what i was talking about, That topic is about Vince Mcmahon and the state of what his responsibilities are. Recently i got some info on Vince's New responsibilities and it is as follow's.

- A new "employment agreement" Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment went into effect on January 1st and will run for three years until December 31, 2013. According to the official SEC Filing posted at WWE.com, McMahon's new role in the company is as follows: "In addition to his duties and responsibilities as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, the Executive shall serve as the Company’s creative director, and as a writer, and performer at various times for and in the Company’s events and productions." The three-year deal gives McMahon generous compensation if he is terminated "other than for cause" or leaves on his own accord with "good reason." It also includes a 1-year no compete clause in the event that his agreement is terminated.

Now what a delema.. Vince Mcmahon has alot of work ahead of him, a One Man Show. But The question i'd like to know is why does he have to have all of these responsibilities, when he has all of these worker's working for him? Did the WWE do any Budget Cuts which involved getting rid of some people in Personel. is Vince mcmahon really doing this alone???? only time will tell!!!
