What ever Happened to The War Games !!

In the Year 1987 in the NWA Jim Crockett came up with a match that would later become the most devasting match in pro wrestling, that match was the War games. In the third annual Great american Bash, the war games debut as a match to settle old scores, the participants were, the American dream Dusty rhodes, Nikita kolof, Road Warriors(hawk & animal), Paul ellering vs. The four horsemen & J.J Dillon. The match was awsome and historical!!

That same year the war games returned, but this time the rematch had a little diference in team mates. The participants were The four Horsemen vs. Dusty rhodes, lex luger, Road warriors, and paul ellering once again. the out comes was the same... Over the next few years the war games was used in different events, but the war games returned in '89, the match was, The Freebirds, and the Soamon swat team vs. The Road Warriors and The Midnight Express, The road warriors and the midnight express came out with the win. In 1991 the war games would witness the shock the world would never forget, the four horsemen vs. Sting's team of sting, brain pillman, the steiner brothers, and El Egante, the match was so brutal that it had to be stopped, sid Vicious power Bombed brain pillman twice to end the match early....

The War Games would return in mid 1992 at Wrestle War, The participants were Sting's Squadron ( Sting, Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham, nikita kolof, Ricky Steamboat.) vs. The Dangerous Alliance, The match was great, sting's squadron came out the Victor's. After 1992, the war games would be put on hold for two years, but it would return in a New Event called Fall Brawl: War games. The participants were Sting, davy boy smith, the shockmaster, dustin rhodes, Ricky Steamboat vs. Big van vader, Harlem Heat, Sid Vicious, sting's team wins...

The war games would return two more times, then it would never return again...

In years to come war games would be reincarnated in the WWE as The Elimination Chamber match, Satan's Domain, the concept was interesting, and would live for the next seven years.

Everyday i ponder over the idea that the war games would return, but nothing ever happened.

so in years to come, i hope when every wrestling fan asks, what match was the most brutal match in pro wrestling... you say The War games........
