In The early part of the 1980's there was an individual who came from the blade runners from the UWF promotion to the big time of The World wrestling federation. This individual dominated the wrestling scene, by having great matches and memorable moments. this individual is the ultimate warrior!! the ultimate warrior had a memorable career, but behind close doors there was a troubled soul who couldn't get a grip of reality. the ultimate warrior came to the world wrestling federation as the dingo warrior, but vince mcmahon changed all that by renaming him as the ultimate warrior, and the fans caught on to character of the ulitimate warrior in several weeks, then at wrestlemania IV the ultimate warrior wrestled hercules hernandez, in a memorable match. In mid 1988, the ultimate warrior got a taste of WWF gold when he appeared as a replacement for the injured brutus the baber beefcake to wrestle the honky tonk man for the intercontinental championship at summerslam '88 in madison square garden. The ultimate warrior became the champion and went on a rampage dominating the WWF until early 1989 the ultimate warrior got a taste of defeat by the hands of Ravising Rick Rude at wrestlemania V for the intercontinental championship. But in mid 1989 the ultimate warrior defeated rick rude at summerslam '89 to recapture the intercontinental championship. The ultimate warrior was headed for the WWF title and a history making match with Hulk Hogan at wrestlemania VI at the skydome in toranto canada. The match was awsome, both men going back and forth, then when hulk hogan was going for his signature move the legdrop, the ultimate warrior saw his opening for his last attack, moving away from the legdrop and splash down on hogan to win the WWF title for the first time. but in early 1991 the ultimate warrior tasted defeat yet again from Sgt. slaughter at the royal rumble for the WWF title. during that time the ultimate warrior was in a incident with vince mcmahon during Summerslam '90 where he was to defend the title against Rick rude in a steel cage, the warrior declined and asked for more money, vince mcmahon refused to pay him more money for this match, so the ultimate warrior threatened vince mcmahon with a gun to his head and the rest was history. after the lose of the WWF title, the ultimate warrior had more memorable matches, then was released from his contract by vince mcmahon for not showing up in future events. So the ultimate warrior went south, and ended up in WCW, working with hulk hogan and eric bishoff, during that time the warrior was set to do a rematch with hulk hogan at halloween havoc, this match was Horrible to say the least.
so the warrior was release yet again because of a dispute with eric bishoff. Ever since WCW the warrior never wrestled again in primetime television. but the question still remains.....
What happened to the Ultimate warrior, and why is vince mcmahon flirting with the idea of bringing him back to the WWE?
