Well Well Well and i use this term loosely, The WWE is Finally Unifying their championship belts.
In the past The WWE has Unified some titles, but later broke them up for the better of the company. But recent championships have gotten a little stale for the past couple of months.
Some young WWE wrestlers who have just recently joined the organization have been complaining that they want titles shots when they just arrived!! let me give you an example, Sheamus just last year join the WWE as young heel, and started a feud with John Cena, only a few weeks into his feud with john, sheamus became the WWE champion!! but that not when this whole title change started for younger talented wrestlers, you would have to go back in early 2000 when Brock Lesner entered the scene as dominate force with a ameture wrestling back ground and a broad image. Brock didn't have to wait that long to become champion, brock won his first Undiputed WWE championship at summerslam against The Rock. The WWE has had all these title since the distruction of WCW back in 2001, and inherited what was known back then as The WCW World Title, WCW U.S Title, WCW World Tag Team titles, and all hell broke loose. Alot of WWE talent wanted to become champion early in their careers, and abanded a more traditional WWE senerio, where the young wrestler would have to pay his dues with his peers in order to be reconize as a great wrestler. The WWE has abandon that Philosophy, and made young champions with no idea how to be a champion. These days a wrestler can make an impact, then the next week become a champion without paying his dues... I think Unifying the championships is the best thing for the WWE right now. The WWE has to get everything back to when it was hard for an adverage wrestler to become champion. They have to go back to the era of the 1980's when the actual champions would decide who was going to become champion based on individual talent. Not on how their image proceeds them.... Back in the 1980's the then WWF had only four championships on their stable, WWF championship, WWF Intercontinental Championship, WWF Tag Team Championship, and WWF Womens Championship, and only once has the WWE unified one title the WWE & World title back at Wrestlemania XVIII- Triple H vs. Chris Jericho for both titles.... Since then the titles has been going crazy.... wrestlers who were suppose to be jobbers became champions, and champions became the jobbers, you could call this the reverse 80's project.... LOL.
So enclosing i'm glad that the wwe has seen the light as far as championships are concern, but i hope that the wwe could start bringing some order back into a organization that has been on top based on marketing for children, and neglecting the real wrestling fans, and it's product.
I 100%agree good stuff my friend
