The State of Professional Wrestling: Has The Balance of Power Shifted?

Well Well Well, i Knew this day would come it happens everytime someone changes the cource of pro wrestling it has happened many time and the rating go up and come crashing down. Recently, Pro Wrestling has been going on a stale spin if you know what i mean. Last time something like this happened a great empire came crashing down because of financial problems (WCW). Lets take a little Flash back to 1995 where two companys started a war that lasted for about seven years and the end result was catastrofic. The War was held on Monday Nights between Monday Night Raw(WWE) and Monday Night Nitro(WCW) from the beginning the war seemed to be a fantasy for the fans, but in 1996 The reality of it all was in fact very real. At Bash at The beach 1996 WCW took the First shot by creating a faction that would be a thorn on Vince Mcmahons Behind sort of specking, that faction was formed by a Leader who once before worked Side by side with Vince Mcmahon, it was Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan Formed a Faction that would be called The New Face of Professional Wrestling The New World Order(NWO) and with Eric Bischoff they Reigned for Over Length of time During The Monday Night Wars with Former WWE Superstars, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Over The next few years the NWO had many members and at first it looked like all of the former WWE Stars would join the Faction, Names like Ted Debiase, Virgil, Curt Henning, Shawn Waltman, Bret Hart, Jeff Jarrett ect. But in The WWE thing sort of got way out of hand, Vince created his own Factions like DX, The Nation of domination, and The Hart Foundation, and over the next couple of weeks the competition started to get very heavy at times taking cheap shot after cheap, and calling each other and daring each other to come and face one another, but nothing happened. But Something did Happen in 1997 At The Survivor Series in Montreal Canada, Bret hart was considered to be the WWE leader at the time and he just signed a 20 year contract thus ending the rumor that bret hart was not going to WCW, but in the coming weeks things started to take a ugly turn. At the Survivor Series Shawn michaels faced bret hart for the WWE championship and that night the WWE was changed forever, Bret hart was screwed by the very same man that he considered a father figure Vince Mcmahon. The demeanor of Vince Mcmahon started to change also, like eric Bischoff with the NWO Vince Mcmahon Turned Heel and started a War with Then WWE Champion Stone cold Steve Austin, and as you say All Hell Broke loose from there. At that moment The Balance of Power started to change, but Like hte NWO, your NWO for life... Eric Bischoff made a Move of his own, he aquired Bret Hart then next month but later as the war continue Eric would regret ever bring bret to WCW. Over the next few weeks WCW still had a firm grip on the competition, but something Happened that would change the WCW from behind the curtain. Ted Turner sold WCW to Time warner, and ended a long lasting relationship which started back in 1990. The Result of this break up caused the WCW to decline rapidly. In 2001 the end of the Monday Night Wars came to a shocking end as an annoucement was felt every where in the world, WCW went out of Business, but before that WCW and it personnel started to see the end result before ted turner sold WCW to time warner, and on Monday Night Both shows were live and the new owner of WCW showed that he was not going to Keep every one.. former WWE stars were going to let go and go home.

In 2003, Former WCW Wrestler Jeff Jarrett had a vision, he wanted to make his own wrestling company and with the help of former WCW superstars and new talents NWA-TNA was born. NWA-TNA was held in Nashville Tenesee, and had their program on pay-per-view and if i can remember correctly the price to see it was $9.99, but for that price NWA-TNA was not going to disappoint. The First Night had a NWA Championship Gaunlet match and the last two wrestlers would wrestle for the NWA championship, Ken shamrock became the NWA Champion that Night.

In 2004, NWA -TNA had already established it self as a wrestling company and had not made a Pay-per-View Event until TNA Broke ground by creating Victory Road, and other events like Hard justice, No Surrender, Bound for Glory and others that would pave the way for future wrestling talents. Over the Next Couple of years TNA would attract alot of fans and gain alot of ground in years to come, but in 2010 Things started to shape up.... TNA President dixie Carter announced the arrival of Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff into TNA. Both Hogan and Bischoff saw TNA grow for the past couple of years and said that they can make TNA better by taking risks and going beyond their limits. On January 4th TNA went head to Head with the WWE to shake things up, but both companies showed little responce in the ratings.. So TNA made a decission not to air TNA Impact on monday nights because both programs didn't have the fire that would elevate both companies. former WWE superstars started to join TNA like Kurt Angle, Jeff hardy, RVD, and Mr. anderson.

On October 10, 2010 TNA made a Bold move that would be considered changing the cource of pro wrestling. At Bound for glory TNA made a Storyline that would shock the foundation of TNA and its fans, Like 1996 Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff had an idea to Reform the NWO but in a different Wrestling Company. In the main event the TNA world Heavyweight title was on the line between Mr. Anderson, Kurt angle, and Jeff Hardy. The match was going back and forth, until Eric Bischoff came out with a chair, and Hulk Hogan right behind him, both men pretending to argue at each other until Jeff Hardy showed up, and what happens Next Changed the cource in my opinion of Wrestling. Jeff hardy Takes the crutch from Hogan and hits Kurt Angle with it, then takes the other crutch from Bischoff and does the same thing to mr. anderson and covers him for the 3-count and wins the TNA Championship, but thats not all The Question of who "They" are happens to be Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff and company, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Hulk Hogan and eric Bischoff. Now if you didn't see this coming your as shocked as i was... I recently saw an old video of bash at the beach from daytona Beach Florida where the NWO was formed and all of a sudden i notice the place were bound for Glory was, it was at tampa florida, so the question is was this a setup all along for the NWO to be reformed. In my opinion yes... Like 1996 Hulk Hogan changed the cource of wrestling in WCW, and Now he's done it again in 2010 at TNA.

So with that note.... Do you think that because of Hulk Hogan and the events of Bound for Glory, do you think the Balance of power has Shifted in Pro Wrestling???
